Introducing Nick Booker

Introducing Nick Booker

We are proud of our team at Index, we recruit carefully to ensure that our people all share common values and have the same desire to provide a high level of service to our clients.

I have the pleasure of informing you that Nick Booker has recently joined our team as a Chartered Financial Planner. Nick has a wealth of knowledge and experience in advising clients, and like Noel, Les, and Bhavika is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. The team describe him as Deliberate. Systematic. Logical.  Below Nick shares an insight into his work and home life.

Nick at work

I have spent the majority of my time in financial services with a large, well known wealth management company and during this time I advised predominately business owners and professionals on their financial planning. Before this I completed a degree in Accounting and Finance at Warwick Business School. I am passionate about delivering high quality financial planning advice to clients, and take a lot of pride in knowing that the service I provide can have a positive impact on peoples’ lives.

"I am pleased to be a part of the team at Index, and look forward to playing my part in looking after our clients and their financial planning."

Nick at home

Outside of work the most important thing to me is my family and friends, and I enjoy spending time with them and socialising. Aside from this, a lot of my spare time is spent keeping active and having signed up for an Ironman event in 2018 a lot of my time over the next few months will be spent training for this. Although I am relatively comfortable with cycling and running, the swimming is more of a challenge and I think I will be spending a lot of time in the pool trying to hone my stroke! However, I also really enjoy the more sedate things in life like walking on Cannock Chase or playing golf, and although I don’t get as much chance as I would like to I really enjoy reading. It’s a blessing that I have recently discovered audiobooks though, as I find it so much easier to listen than to sit down with a book
