I live in a little village in Staffordshire with my husband and our two daughters aged 3 and 5. The outdoor life keeps me sane! Family time is very important to us and our weekends are always full of mini adventures. We have a huge extended family (I am lucky enough to have four generations in our family). It is amazing to go somewhere with my grandparents and my children, and to experience that place through not only my eyes, but through my children’s and my grandparent’s too.
I go running at least three time a week. Running is my time. It’s the time when I don’t think or do anything, except run. It’s the only time I get alone! I love to read fiction, one of my favourite books is Influence by Robert Cialdini. I am fascinated by the brain and psychology and enjoy reading any self-development books.
My Work History & Experience
Starting in Financial Services 18 years ago as an administrator, I have pretty much held every service position possible within a financial advisory firm. This "from the ground up" training has given me an invaluable insight and understanding into the everyday workings of a financial advisory firm. It’s helped me develop a more proactive and practical approach to management and the running of the firm. I have held a senior management role for the last twelve years. I have the diploma in Financial Planning and continue to study towards my advanced diploma.
My Time at Index Wealth Management
As Practice Manager I am responsible for overseeing all client projects from requirements through to implementation, ensuring operational excellence and delivering outstanding client service. I have the management responsibility for the running of the business, including the delivery of our strategic plan, the effective management and motivation of staff and our service delivery to clients. I am committed to the ongoing development of Index Wealth Management, our team members and the client experience and service we provide. I believe in thinking differently, making things efficient and simple and always asking 'why'?.
